See how existing dentures are modified, without o-rings to create a snug fit at considerable cost savings compared with other technologies. Video material produced by Henry Schein Dental, distributor of Atlas Narrow Body Implants.
    • Dental Implants vs Dentures or Bridgework:
Animated video provides a visual outline of the different types of tooth replacement options and procedures for replacing a single tooth or several teeth. Comparisons are made with popular choices. Recommended viewing for patients still in the process of evaluating which treatment options are best, in terms of cost, endurance, comfort, cosmetics and function. Footage produced by Bicon Implants and provided through Dr. Edward Brant of Long Island NY.
    • Implants Gone Bad: Removal Procedure
Specialized implants exist for a variety of tissue health conditions that promote the highest degree of osseointegration and biocompatibility for any given tissue area. Short implants, long implants, tapered implants, barrel type, etc. Abutment devices also add more degrees of customization. In this video, short, low profile implants failed in the rear-most (posterior) areas of the jaw. See how dental implants are safely removed without compromising tissue health so future implant replacements can be successful. Video material provided by Edward Brant, DDS, MS of Long Island NY
    • Lower Jaw Implants: One Day Tooth Replacement:
A 4 minute video showing extractions of lower jaw teeth with same appointment placement of dental implants with immediate loading of temporary teeth. New teeth without being toothless. When implants become fully integrated with lower jawbone porcelain teeth will replace temporaries made from composite resin. Footage provided by Dr. Ara Nazarian of Troy, MI
    • Ridge Splitting for Thin Jawbone:
GRAPHIC – About a 2 minute video demonstrating how specialized instruments are used to augment and create new width and substance to thinning jawbones. The bony ridge is carefully split to accommodate precision sized implants and then fortified with bone graft material that quickly generates new healthy bone that is fully integrated with the patient’s jawbone and the implant devices. Video footage created by Andrew Kelly, DDS of Clemmons, NC
    • Manual Ridge Split Grafting:
A multimedia outline of how ridge splitting and bone compaction instruments improves the integrity of jawbone material as it is being prepared for dental implants. Practiced by only a few accomplished implantologists nationwide, ridge splitting can assure implant success for patients who have had a history of compromised jawbone mass. Implants for this patient (live surgery) were placed on upper and lower jaws. Material provided by Dr. Richard Winter of Milwaukee WI
    • Receding Gum Root Coverage – Growing New Gum Tissue
Periodontal tunneling is a popular and effective grafting procedure to augment or replenish lost or compromised tissue. See how the gingival tissues are prepared for tunneling and the actual process of moving the graft material through the tunnel into precise locations. A proprietary suturing technique is used to create the normal snug fit for each anterior tooth while simultaneously raising the gum line higher, thereby reversing the appearance of a minor receding gum line. Video footage provided by Edward Brant, DDS, MS, Long Island, NY.
    • Easy X-TRAC System: Animation Video Extraction Technology – Preventing Extraction Related Bone Loss:
An animated demonstration of the Easy X-TRAC System that now provides dentists and dental specialists the ability to extract teeth with no bone loss, no tilting or twisting movements and, subsequently, no post-traumatic swelling. Additional benefits may include the the avoidance of needed bone restoration (grafting) and healing time of soft tissue.
    • Jaw Trauma: Rehabilitative Implant Bone Graft Dentistry:
Sports activities and automobile accidents are two of the most common causes of severe trauma to the anterior jaw and teeth. Recommended viewing for prospective implant patients.
    • Missing Canines: Replacing What Mother Nature Forgot:
Congenitally missing teeth are really not all that uncommon, representing two of the most common birth defects that occur in dentistry. Orthodontics and Maryland bridges are popular choices for treatment Dental implants however are the only products that stimulate and preserve jawbone in exactly the same fashion that Mother Nature does with natural teeth. See how congenitally missing teeth are prepared for modern dental implants. Footage created by Dr. Edward Brant of Long Island NY.

      • Chin Block Harvesting – Creating Autogenous Bone Graft Product
WARNING – This video extremely GRAPHIC – The characteristics of jawbone frequently defines what type of bone grafting procedure will produce the best results in terms of predictability and long term endurance. In this video a male patient sustained an implant failure due to poor bone quality in the maxilla. It was determined that to augment the insufficient width and density of bone at the implant site, a solid piece of healthy bone would provide a solid foundation for recreating an “implant environment” that is second, only perhaps, to what mother nature provides. Surgery footage provided by Dr. Edward Brant of Long Island NY
      • Chin Block Graft Surgery – Autogenous Bone Grafting:
WARNING – This video extremely GRAPHIC – This multimedia presentation is comprised of detailed still photography that outlines the steps and procedures in a more radical form of replacing bone in the jawbones that uses the best source of graft material… that of the patient. EXTREME CLOSEUP PHOTOGRAPHY shows the harvesting process of creating Chin Block Graft material that is subsequently used for rehabilitating and re-fortifying areas of the jawbone that are the weakest. provided by Dr. Richard Winter of Milwaukee WI
      • Lower Jaw Bone Augmentation
WARNING – This video extremely GRAPHIC – Periodontitis requires removal of all diseased tissue and all teeth in the lower jaw. Grafting products including Puros Allograft and GTR membranes are used to rebuild what was lost to assure a healthy foundation for lower arch teeth replacement.Traditional and provisional implants are used to provide immediate dental function via a denture prosthetic with the planned goal of an implant supported bridge.
      • Diagnosing Healthy Osseointegration: Implant Loading
Implant failures are commonly caused by osseointegration failures that can be attributed to one or several complicating factors. Technologies do exist however for dentists, surgeons, periodontists and implantologists to objectively measure the amount and rate of osseointegration which is critical for determining when an implant should be loaded with the restoration crown(s) or prosthesis. Watch a animated clip demonstrating the Ostell Mentor device. Utilizing Resonance Frequency Pulses, it provides technical data that can have a dramatic impact on treatment success.

The final fitting of the fixed prosthetic demonstrates the “Snap In” effect of the Marius interface.
      • Marius Bridge: Final Install
This video is a continuation of the preceding video. After testing the calibration, the dentist installs the Marius Bridge infrastructure elements and attaches the final prosthetic. As can be seen in the video, the use of 3D catscans and CAD/CAM milling of the titanium elements creates a perfect fit into the implant configuration that was originally designed with Virtual Treatment software.
      • Marius Bridge Treatment Example

Actual treatment example using The Marius Bridge. Specially created for upper edentulous
jaw reconstruction by Yvan Fortin DMD of Quebec Canada, this denture treatment alternative
